Referral disclosure

The plain version: the codes and links on this site are Tesla referral codes, not discount coupons. Using one costs you nothing extra, and the car's price doesn't change either way. Here's exactly how that works, and what it means for you.

What happens when you use a code

If you order a new Model 3 or Model Y after opening one of our referral links, the code's owner may receive Tesla account credit once you take delivery (capped at 10 referrals per calendar year, per Tesla's own terms). You, the buyer, receive the buyer benefit — currently around 650 free Supercharging miles, worth roughly £70–£100 in real charging (see the full breakdown for how that's worked out). Neither side pays anything extra — the referral doesn't touch the vehicle's list price in either direction.

Why the code changes every time you load a page

We don't run a single hardcoded link to one owner. Codes come from a shared pool, and each page load shows one real, working code picked at random — the code you see is the code you copy and the code your "Open at Tesla" button opens, always matching. That's a deliberate choice: it spreads link-outs fairly across everyone in the pool instead of funnelling every visitor to one person's account, which is how several other UK referral pages we've reviewed are set up.

No payment for placement, no editorial influence

We don't accept payment from Tesla, from any code owner, or from anyone else to appear in the rotation or to be described favourably. The only thing anyone in the pool gets is the standard Tesla referral credit described above, on the same terms as everyone else in the pool. Every figure on this site is checked against tesla.com/en_gb and the sources listed in the footer — see how we verify these links — independently of who's currently in the rotation.

Link labelling

Every referral and outbound link on this site is marked rel="nofollow sponsored" (or rel="nofollow noopener" for citation links), consistent with search-engine guidance on disclosing paid or incentivised links. That labelling doesn't change where the link takes you or what it does — it's purely a disclosure signal for search engines and browsers.
