Privacy

This is a static site: no accounts, no sign-up, no login, and no form on this site collects your personal details. Here's what that means in practice, and what happens once you click through to Tesla.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email or any personal detail to use the referral tool, read the guide, or follow the walkthrough. There's no account to create and nothing stored against you as an individual on this site.

What may be collected, and why

Where analytics are enabled on a given deployment of this site, aggregate, non-identifying usage data — such as which pages were viewed, and whether a referral code was copied or a referral link was clicked — may be collected via Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which parts of the walkthrough are working and which aren't. This never builds a profile of you personally, and copying or opening a referral code works exactly the same whether analytics is switched on or off — it's never a dependency of the tool itself. If analytics is off in a given deployment, none of this fires at all: no script loads, no event is sent.

Standard web-server logs (the kind almost every website generates, showing things like IP address, browser type and request time) may exist at the hosting level; we don't separately mine these for identifying details.

Cookies

We don't set our own tracking cookies. If Google Analytics is enabled on a given deployment, Google's own analytics cookies/identifiers may apply under Google's privacy policy — see Google's documentation for how that data is used and how to opt out.

Leaving this site

When you use a referral link, or follow a citation in the "sources" list, you leave this site for tesla.com (or the cited publisher) — each has its own, separate privacy policy, and this page doesn't speak for them. We recommend checking tesla.com/en_gb's privacy terms directly if you have questions about what Tesla itself collects once you land there.
