Is the Tesla referral scheme still active in the UK?
Yes. As of 13 July 2026, new UK buyers of a Model 3 or Model Y can claim around 650 miles of free Supercharging by ordering through a referral link. We re-check this against tesla.com/en_gb before each update.
Does using a referral code cost me anything?
No. The buyer benefit is free and does not change the car's price. The code's owner may earn Tesla credits when you take delivery, but that has no cost to you.
Do I get three months of free Full Self-Driving in the UK?
No — that is the US and Canada benefit. FSD is not road-legal in the UK yet (it is under VCA review), so the UK referral benefit is Supercharging miles, not an FSD trial. Ignore any UK page that promises free FSD.
Can I add a referral code after I've placed my order?
No. Online, the link must be used before you configure and pay — the benefit is recognised in your order summary before payment and cannot be added afterwards. In a Tesla store, give the code to the sales advisor before you order.
Which models qualify for the UK referral benefit?
Model 3 and Model Y are the confirmed qualifying new cars in the UK today. Model S and Model X eligibility is changing across the UK/EU, and Cybertruck is not sold in the UK at all.
